I met up with an old Vancouver friend for a few days, which was incredibly good times.
Yesterday was fun, slept in , saw Big Ben and Westminster abbey. Today going to the Tate.
I don’t know if I want to come home!

London is madness. everyone smokes like crazy, no one follows traffic rules, even McDonald’s is expensive, and the other day someone asked me where my accent was from!
Beautiful city though; crazy and busy and clean.
No one seems to understand my accent though. And for some reason the streets are not grid style. [...]

So after a semester of craziness I have headed off to the UK to absorb some culture and visit some friends.
So far we’ve visited the British Museum, Topshop, two pubs, the natural history museum and Buckingham palace. more updates later, but in the meantime here’s a few pictures
